Art Fest at Cascade Park in New Castle: Saturday May 26 and 27 11am to 9pm.

1. Photos to be sold should be no larger than 8x10, matted only (no frames), with prices and names clearly marked on back of matt. All matted photos must be in a clear plastic sleeve which can be purchased from Pat at 25 cents per sleeve. These photos will be kept in a bin. Please bring your photos to the club meeting on May 10th or drop them off at Pat's Camera Cottage no later than May 23rd. If you volunteer at least 3 hours of your time to work at the event you will get 100% of the profit from any sale of your photo otherwise the club will receive a 30% commission on the sale.

2. Anyone wishing to display a framed photo MUST hang their own photo and remove it at the end of the show. We will not be responsible for any framed photos. Please inform Audrey if you intend to display a framed photo. Space is limited.

3. We encourage participants to display their work in a ring binder note book with their name on the front cover of the note book. This will be suitable for our, "rest and browse" attraction. (Of course our real intent is to get people excited about our work without turning off the beginners).

4. We have arranged an "ask the expert" program for the event. Brian Pollock (photoshop/ graphic art questions), Karen Kriley (portrait photography), Dave Diffenderfer (landscape) and Pat Patterson (camera questions) will be on hand to answer questions from the public. If anyone is interested in being part of this please let Audrey know. (724-530-6495) We need people that can answer questions about lighting and using film and photographing sporting events and using phone cameras and scanners. The list is endless. What ever your particular field of expertise is we will schedule a time for you to be at the booth.

5. We will give away a door prize of a camera back pack (thank you Pat) and 4 free memberships to the club (if that's ok with Bill).

6. Brian Pollock will be there  for a couple of hours each day doing free caricatures. It's a great attraction to the booth.

7. We hope to make this event  a place to display the club's talent and as a promotional piece for NCCC .   We can use all the help we can get and are open to any and all suggestions.

We still have not heard  from the Hoyt concerning the juried art competition.

Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress so be prepared for changes and corrections.
